Im thinking of trying this for Beau. He is currently in a single joint snaffle and hates it.

Just wondering what people's experiences were of the Sprenger WH?

I have just purchased one and not that impressed...lad seems less relaxed in his jaw that he was in the normal french link so im going to drop backto that I think..hes wetter in the mouth but not necessarily happier...

oh, okay. i've got the one that's got slightly less of a bump in the middle, i think they call it the training bit.
it's adorning the wall of the tackroom because my trainer only allows me to use single-joint bits... and now, finally, i know he's right!
fwiw, if you use a snaffle correctly, you only move one hand at a time and keep the other still, which with a single joint bit means that one side of the bit stays still. an extra joint makes for a more muddled aid, in this case.

Thanks for this info, it seems to be hailed as a miracle bit hence why Im keen to hear REAL opinions.

He def isnt happy in the single joint though, its the nutcracker action I think.

Never used this bit but my horse has a happymouth bit with a peanut link in the centre which rotates round (similar to the idea this bit seems to be portraying), he goes very nicely in it, might be worth a try?

Yes, I've used one. The Sprenger bits are fantastic I have to say. I used the WH Ultra on my last Horse and he loved it. I got the D ring version. He was quite a nervous Horse and the roller did pacify him. He used to chew when he got nervous but with this he just rolled it.
The Horse I have now though, I use the Sprenger Ultra Dynamic which I think is even better. It's the best shaped bit I've seen. If you are going to get one, save yourself £30 quid and buy from here

I've bought 3 from here and the service is fantastic.
