Just looking at their prices and it seems to work out at £1.30 per kg for chicken&tripe mince  although i dont see any ingredients actually listed.. wondering if anyone else uses them and what the quality is like? Also how well packaged is it? I got some cheaper meat blocks locally which came in thin plastic bags that werent sealed and in a black binbag. Thus defrosting them in a tub there was gunk all over the outside of the bags and it got very messy, I wasnt impressed with the quality either, it looked like floor scrapings:o

I'm thinking about putting in an order with them - haven't before so will be interested in seeing replies.

Hadn't though about packaging tbh - leakage is grim. Can you use disposable gloves when handling - I know it's not ideal but saves washing/picking innards out of your nails :p

its just not practical for me tbh. I use natural instinct at the moment which is fab, but £££. One of the reasons I like it though is how hygienically its prepared and packaged. Ive got a 6 month old baby and feeding in the kennels first thing has to be quick and easy.

What I am doing at the moment is getting the big bags of minced meat or chicken carcasses and decanting them into the plastic biscuit/sweetie tubs the minute I get it home? Then dole it out from there with an old spoon or whatever.
Like Family Circle or Celebrations. They hold a lot and they can go in the freezer too and it's a good excuse to buy sweets!!!

Also being this time of year there are a lot floating about in work etc so I always ask people if they can keep me the tubs.

I was using the NI tubs but they are a bit small and it's a bit fiddly trying to tip big bags of tripe into ice cream tubs! Good for going away or keeping small amounts frozen but the bigger tubs are much handier. Anyone want to help me finish these biscuits?!!
