Ha ha ha. Good post Arwen..... I ride my horse in a bikini (even in this weather) with my wellies on, no hat, a parelli halter. I bounce balls round his head and I regularly beat him with a branch and my hi-viz gear that I never wear. Aren't I just the perfect owner?!?!!

Funny enough I was reading a masive long thread on Parelli from last year last night. HH started the topic(fight) aand it and there were hundreds of replies. Some of the comments were "its for middle aged women too scared to ride " I was reading it as a very good friend of mine asked my opinion and she wanted me to watch the DVD's. I told her to type in Parelli on HHO and it was an eye opener.

Oh and I regularly ride on A roads whilst on the phone... ba$*ards have started hurling abuse at me out their window... and i was stopped by the police!!! I mean, dont the police have anything better to do?

I knew someone who until very recently (when the car was written off) used to tow a rickety old rice trailer containing a mare & foal and either one or two young ponies with.....an easily 25 year old escort...how on earth he fitted them in and made it about the place without killing them or himself I do not know.

Well lad at my yard who funnily enough DOES ride in his nike airs and trackies gives "lessons" to small children on his highly strung welsh cob

How he hasn't had an accident is totally beyond me. He regularly rides with no hat BRAYS his horse everywhere whilst playing chav beats from his phone

In fact I am even too traumatised to say what colour it was now incase it all starts again

This thread is seriously cracking me up.
Instead of a Pelham, how about a double bridle (upside down of course) Or a driving bit with the side reins, bungee, standing martingale whilst lunging the horse until it falls over so that we can hop onto it barefoot
