I mean this in the nicest possible wy but just wondered what everyone does that allows them to be on the forum a lot?
Do you all work in a very laid back office that allows you this small pleasure? Do you work from home? Do you not work (in which case how come)? Or are you all under the age of 5 and just back from playgroup...?

I work from home, so some days I'm at the desk all day and others (like today) I was on the road early and back home late afternoon.

This is also my own computer, so there is no IT department looking over my shoulder

I've got a normal job, and I'm actually very busy! I just end up working late and coming in early to make up for all the time I spend on HHO! (I don't get paid OT) I come on here while I'm waiting for downloads and while I'm on hold on the phone etc

My desk is in a good position

I have a normal job just 2 1/2 days a week and for those days I produce accounts for the motor industry and we are very quiet at the moment, so I have HHO on all day and in between bank recs I read the posts, makes a dull day go alot quicker.

My boss comes in and he knows what I'm up to, there is someone else in the dealership who is very much into horse racing and she is always on the net and watching the customers tv re the races.
I guess we are quite lucky, but the threat of redundancies rumble!

I'm in the office from 9 - 5.30 and they are far too laid back to check on what we're doing all day!

Ditto... but Im also on the road to redundancy so no one cares anyway!

I retired early, fortunately I was in a position to do it, so now I do a part time job between about 11am & 2pm each weekday, just to give me something to do & a little pocket money.

Used to be a Civil Servant, but it was so mind-crushingly boring, I gave it all up four years ago and moved to Germany. Now I'm semi-retired-ish, and see much more of my cob (at least every other day

,as opposed to once a week

). But I do work occasionally, helping locals with English, and as a Tour Guide for the local Haupt-und Landgestüt (stud).

I have a normal office job and dodge in an out of the forum depending on work load (and how the phone is ringing). Spend all evening on here sometimes though . . .

I have my own business. I spend far too much time on here and am considering sacking myself!
...must remember to buy lotto ticket... must remember to buy lotto ticket...

I work for myself from home and I've been on here loads today because I've had 7 different workmen busy in my cottage. I decided it was too hard to work with all the hammering, drilling, radio blaring out etc and gave myself most of the day off. I will work harder tomorrow.........promise!

I work on a Friday morning and all day Saturday at a boarding cattery and kennels, the rest of the time i am a full time mum to my two boys, one is 2 the other 7 so can come on when i like

I'm a student, finished all my exams several weeks ago and am now free until mid October when I begin my second year. I work evenings and weekends in the local pub, which is why I am often on in the afternoons but seldom weekends.
