Does bad luck really come in threes?

I appear to be able to break everything I touch recently.
1:Horsebox broke down in May- cost £1200 to repair
2:New horse bought in April has been ill since June - has been in hospital for over a month now - cost still unknown, but will exceed insurance limit.....
3: New car bought in May has broken down 5 times and is in garage.....
4: Work laptop blew up in my car (yes literally blew up)
5: Other horse got kicked - vets bill not huge, but would rather it had been avoided!
6:I AM STILL WAITING......WHAT WILL THE SIXTH THING BE? I am almost too scared now to leave the house, ride the horse, drive the horsebox....I am considering becoming a hermit. Far cheaper....

Yep but you could have had number 6 with out realising, like err new tax bill, not always major.

Yep, well mine came in 4 i had a terrible year about 3 yrs ago, me and my friend witnessed a man drown, i lost a baby, and an old man who live in a caravan on my old yard died when one of his gas canisters exploded. And i lost my horse

I do believe things happen in 3s. One year when we were living in USA,there was something wrong with my water heater,then to top it off we also found out it was leaking,so had to be replaced,then I had the furnce checked and the stupid man turned it off,so couldnt use it,then I had no hot water,Had just had a baby 2 weeks earlier.Grrrrrr Hubby was deployed at the time.
Glad to be back in the UK.

Im with you on this one blinky, i have lost count of my bad luck this year.
Dont tink mine is a run of three more a run of 333.
But then saying that there have been some very happy times as well
