Does Equisuede on full seat breeches tear?

I bought a pair of Barbour Alacantara full seat breeches from my local tack shop which deals in factory seconds/end of lines/used, etc. They are new with tags but they had shop soiling so they were VERY cheap and I bought them to be my good dressage show breeches.

Anyways washed them to get the shop dirt out of them and they turn out sparkling but I noticed that there is a pinhead size hole in the equisuede just under the right butt cheek area. I'm guessing this is why they were factory 2nds or either that, someone tried them on in the shop with put a hole in them somehow.

It's not a big hole and I could still wear them (with white pants on!) but just was wondering if the equisuede will hold up as it's on the part that would be rubbing on the saddle and don't want them to rip and have me flash the judges!

I have a pair of these breeches and managed to make a small hole in them on the inside of the thigh. The hole has been there for 3 years now and has not enlarged, hope this helps.

Phew!!! Thank goodness for that as I didn't fancy forking out for another pair if these broke. I hate shopping for full seat breeches too as they never fit me properly, these ones are the only ones that fit me good too.
