Suddenly in the last few weeks my riding / and my 15.2 WB mare have suddenly 'clicked'!! It is such a good feeling!! i have had her a good few years, she is nicely schooled but can be difficult sometimes. I have regualar lessons and we have made some improvement over the years. I have grasped and understood, straightness, flexion and bend, working from the inside leg to outside hand, ect ect. I consider myself to be an ok rider, competant and experienced. BUT suddenly it has all come together, both for myself and my horse and both of us as a partnership. She is going beautifully, working over her back into a lovely outline and is forward and.... oh!! just lovely!!!
This seems to have happened almost overnight, and i feel that i finally after all these year know how to ride! It just seems to have all fallen into place,
Has everyone else had these moments in their riding when they have gone from an adequate rider up to the next level?
