I only vaccinate for Tetanus for everything (60 in total!) and only do 'flu with horses that are competing. I also do EHV (3 jabs) for all the brood mares - and EVA for the stallion.
With EVA, you have to take a blood test before the booster - and one 4 weeks later to make sure it has 'worked' (I used to get concerned calls from little man at DEFRA saying my horse has tested with high levels of antibodies - I should bloody well hope so - the vaccine IS expensive!)
Foals are vaccinated for Tetanus at 8 weeks (Mum's antibodies protect them prior to that.)
