Probably seems a bit "get over yourself" to some of you but am still happy
Rode properly for the first time in a year today
Had a really good old play, did some pole work, no stirrups (made to by my best mate
) and it was like getting back on a bicycle.
Ok, position's a little rusty and needs some fine tuning, but could have been a lot worse. Best bit though - I wasn't nervous at all!
I'm normally trying to stop myself being sick so was really pleased and just relaxed into it.
Oh and rode bareback for the first time ever too
I'm reliving the thelwell years that I never had.
Can't wait to get back on and do it all again!
