does he look in very bad condition???

My ID has been through most things since i bought him under a year ago, He has had a biopsy due to tumour and endless other issues as a result of a low immune system!

Anyway.... I am now starting to get back to doing things on him as i have been told to treat him as normal as we dont know if the tumour is malignant or benign and he is back to the horse i bought!

He was very underweight lacking topline and ribby when i bought him and his tumour saga was only in Feb. Do you think he looks in bad condition (i know he needs to build up the muscle again!)

Your advice and suggestions are always appreciated! ;-)

Put quite simply - No I don't. Ok he needs more muscle, but I have seen horses that look a LOT worse out and about.

Hell no! He looks fab, certainly considering what he's been through. Perhaps some more muscling up but no more weight.
I was expecting to see something looking like it might snap in half, but he looks lovely. Well done for keeping your head above water getting him through what sounds like a rough year.

TBH, he looks much better than some horses whose owners wouldn't even consider that they were lacking muscle!

He looks just like my horse who is an Irish Sports horse - same build, muscle everything...he's also not been working due to on going illness so I'm going to watch this thread with interest to see what people say...honestly we could be looking at the same horse

no, I think he's gorgeous! I wouldn't want any more weight on him really. He's lacking in muscle as you say, but he'll look great once he's fit again. he's lovely!

He had a biopsy done on both lungs which showed signs of fluid and tissue mass but they said the results showed signs of tumour but it was more than likely deep inside his chest where it was too risky to enter!

I can only cross my fingers and hope he continues to do well as he is the kindest horse i have ever known....the handsomest too ;-)
