I have had my young horse advertised for swap for a while with very little interest, are people just not interested in doing this now??
There is nothing wrong with the said horse she is just a youngster who needs brought on and produced and now due to work promotion I don't have the time to dedicate to taking her out and about, so now I just want something that has been there and done it!

People generally only want to trade up- unless she's a very smart youngster, it's unlikely she'll be worth as much a horse who knows its job...

Makes complete sense and I understand people would rather trade up, but I was hoping to find someone who had got all they can from their horse and was now looking for a new project.
She's done quite a bit for a 5 yr old but obviously still requires that consistency that I can no longer offer.

Looking on horse sales sites other horses similar to mine...breeding, age, experience are selling for as much as something with a few more miles on the clock and about 10 -12 yrs old???
