Or is he just accident prone?

I have a 6 yr old tbx not much else in him really tbh. I took over ownership May 2012. He had recently (before me while turned away) had a shoulder injury where he staked himself on an electric fence post. I then backed and started bringing on. All was going well until 7 weeks ago he came in from the field ( I should say dragged in) hopping lame and had done a tendon. 5 weeks later looking sounder in walk then got thrush in the affected leg from box rest and cold hosing. Couldn't walk again now finally sound in walk although still a bit sore in trot.

Slowly bringing back into work, into 2nd week of walking on lunge. After his recent bout of throwing himself around on the lunge line I'm almost terrified (but not quite) to sit on him again soon.

Do things generally come in threes, surely this should be it and things should go mostly well from now on?

Depends on the damage to the tendons, I had a mare a few years ago, who damaged her tendons, stretched them, i think. She was hobling lame, and I really thought the worst, but after 6 weeks box rest, and slowly bringing her back to work, she was perfect. xx
I does comes in 3's though, so hopefully you're out of the woods for a while. Hope it all goes well. xx

Ahh thanks guys, it was just a tendon tweak so not too serious, he is a major wuss so made out everything was a lot worse than it was. X

Haha, my sister's horse has to get an award for his wussiness. If he stands on a stone, you'd think his leg was broken. He is allergic to penicillin, and Bee stings, he went into anafalactic shock, nearly died. He did the splits on ice 2 years ago, 3500 euro to fix that. He's cost her 6000 in 3 years in vets bills, and she only paid 1800 for him. She doesnt have insurance, as it it a crazy price here, and most people dont. H's quirky, not easy to ride, can jump out of his skin when he wants to, loves x-country once there are no coffins, cant hunt him as he gets too hot. A dream horse, really..... and he's 17.1hh, and my sister is 5ft 3. But she loves him. It would make one hell of an ad though. :)
