I love the smell of my dogs paws they smell a bit like popcorn !

We had to rip the carpets out our newly purchased house as the previous owners golden retriever had left his scent behind!

That being said, we are holding off from getting a new couch till all small people are potty trained, so can’t be at all sanctimonious!

I hasten to point out that I don’t actively paw smell, it’s a built in hazard when they sleep on the bed next to me 😃

We were oblivious to our dogs smells unless they were wet or badly needing washed, but now that I have lived dog free for a number of years I can totally know of a house has a dog or even if a person does lol

I have to say I miss a normal nice doggy smell. Very comforting
