I've been trying to contact them to find out if they have a particular item in stock---their website claims you can buy it, but I know from other places that this item has had some production difficulties, so I need to know if they actually have access to it before I order...

...anyway, I've tried emailing twice, and calling and leaving messages, but never any response. Always get the machine, and never a person...

...anybody know anything about them? Got any ideas for making contact?

If it is a Pikeur product then the answer more than likely will be have to order, I suspect that you order the item on line then you get an email saying it is not in stock and the production time would be approx 8 weeks. (I maybe wrong) what is it you are trying to get?

A pair of Pikeur jodhs that I actually ordered last year already from a local shop. The local shop told me that there had been a manufacturing problem with the specific fabric/colour I am after, and that Pikeur isn't making any new ones until next Autumn. I'm trying to find out if anyone else still happens to have my size in stock.

I too have been wondering about this as I ordered a pair of breeches from them in October and was charged for them immediately. I was told the breeches would be with me by Christmas but I still haven't received them or had any response to my emails or messages left on their phone asking where they are.

Panache Equestrian does exist. They are based in Farnham in Surrey. I bought two pairs of Pikeur from them last year. The second pair had to be ordered from Germany and it took more than a month. They also sell on Ebay. They lady's name is Vanessa. I think they are the cheapest for Pikeur stuff. I can send you their full address if you email me.

I'm very relieved to hear that they do exist but I placed my order 4 months ago so I do not understand why they have not responded to my emails or phone calls to say why my breeches have not been delivered.

If you are interested in Pikeur then I would look on either Classic Dressage or Dressage Deluxe websites. Both are genuine companies and are large stockists of Pikeur, Anky etc. I have used them before and always had good service

Thanks very much indeed for the advice. I've used Dressage Deluxe too and have always had excellent service; the items I've ordered have always been delivered very quickly.
The breeches I'd ordered from Panache Equestrian were Cavallo ones. I was told I would have the breeches by Christmas and was charged almost £140 for them at the end of October but despite several attempts (by phone and email) to contact them, have had no response. I wonder if they have gone out of business?

Have you resolved your issue with Panache as I am experiencing a similar problem. I ordered a Pikeur jacket 18 December, payment taken 19 December, and was told that it would be delivered in 2 weeks. By beginning Feb I hadn't received it so cancelled order and still haven't received my money back. I have written, e-mailed and rung the firm.

No, I haven't resolved my issue with them and have still not had any response to the messages I left on their answer phone, my emails or the message I left on their Facebook page asking whether they could let me know when my breeches would be delivered or whether I could have a refund. After I'd written on the Panache Equestrian Facebook page several other people then wrote on it saying they'd had similar experiences to mine and one writer had returned a jacket last year but had not been given the refund she had been promised for it. However all of our comments were subsequently deleted from the Facebook page.

I bought some Cavallo Chagall breeches from them recently (no-one else seems to stock them anymore). They had my size in stock and delivered pretty quickly. Good prices too.

Hi, I am from NZ and have put an order in with Panache as well. Money has gone out of my account but 3mths on no response. have you had any luck with them yet. I am going to make an official complaint with Pikuer if this isn,t resolved. I don,t mind the delay if I got a response from them, seems to be very poor on communication.

I've also had similar problems with Panache Equestrian  I ordered 3 pairs of jodhpurs in August and the money was debited immediately from my card. After numerous emails, phone calls etc. I did speak to Vanessa and she assured me that my order would arrive..... it finally did arrive, this week, with only 2 pairs of jodhpurs, one of which was the wrong colour.

I understand that she orders them from Pikeur and that delivery is slow but what I don't understand is the total lack of communication and taking money for goods when they are not even manufactured yet! I am still waiting for the final pair but have no idea when they will arrive....

I forgot to add that I rang Pikeur in Germany and they said that Panache is a distributeur for them and that they can not intervene ie supply the breeches or refund my money

Did you purchase on your credit card? Because if so I would contact them and see about having the money refunded and cancelling your order.

Get their address, log everything that has happened(comms from you) get a small claims court form, fill it in & copy it,send it to them with a letter offering then the final chance to respond with goods or refund within 7 days. Send recorded.Keep a copy of the whole lot. Go to trading standards & ask your bank to do a card refund - they will def do this on a credit card & will also be able to on a debit card..never use them again! If their customer service is this awful, they deserve to go out of business. and I'd raise awareness as you have here by posting on fb horse related pages/groups..just do it cautiously so you get the word out without name calling

Thanks for the advice, Luci07 and SaharaS. I was wondering what the correct procedure for complaining/getting a refund/delivery of goods was. Will definitely do this and you're right any company with such shocking customer service deserves to disappear!

I bought cavallos from Panache ages ago, but they were a sale pair from stock. Arrived quickly with no problems. Now I buy Cavallos from a lady in Spain on ebay (eldragonverde) - great prices even with the postage cost and excellent service. Had no problems returning a pair that turned out to be low rise - not a good look in your 50's! Refunded straight away. Think she does Pikeur etc too.

I have ordered from other companies who supply Pikeur - Amira Equi and I think the other was Equiporium and they all take the payment when you place the order. Some companies only offer the items that they keep in stock so no problem with back-ordering there.
I have had items back ordered from Panache Equestrian and I have never had a problem; I've always asked if there is an alternative if I need a pair of breeches quickly (have holes in the knees now!).
Paulie you say that you have spoken to them and that your order has arrived -seems to me that the best option would be to actually speak to them again if there is a problem rather than just posting on a public forum!

Thanks for all the comments. Manhattan, when I said I spoke to Panache I meant I spoke once to them when I called them from Dubai where I live. I also emailed several times, and rang at least a dozen times, sometimes leaving a message and sometimes not. This past week I have rang about 4/5 times and there was no answer. I think I have done the maximum a customer can (who already paid over 300 GBP in August) and received no communication regarding delivery or a refund. If Panache had kept me updated about my order, in much the same way as Amazon, I would have not been worried that I had simply lost my money. I think you can see from the other comments on the forum that there are other customers in the same situation.
I am also wary of posting comments on a public forum but my intention is not to criticise Panache with no good reason but to find out if others had had similar experiences. As things stand today, I received yesterday two pairs of the three I ordered. So Panache still owe me a pair of breeches or over 100 GBP 3 months after I placed and paid for my order.

Mine too!! Never had a problem and my last pair arrived 2 days after I rang them!
People should try and sort out a problem with a retailer and not be posting comments about trying to put people out of business! I think things are difficult enough for small companies at the moment without all this.

I don't think anyone would want to put a retailer out of business for no good reason and I'm happy to hear that some customers are happy with Panache's customer service.
However, I'd just like to ask if it is normal that I pay money to a business to be completely ignored when I email/phone. I have tried on several occasions to sort this out with the retailer directly but given that they don't respond to emails or answer the phone, short of turning up at the company directly, I don't see what else I could have done! Perhaps FlossieH you could advise me on how I get the rest of my money back, or the pair of breeches I've been waiting 3 months for?

They have given rotten service. Quite frankly, they don't deserve to trade if they behave like this and I am very glad of the warning. In these days of fast social media, its an idiot who ignores their customer and thinks they can get away with it. I would be INCREDIBLY p**sed off if I had paid that money and then had no responses, even with repeated calls. Its not hard, Equestrian Clearance consistently get excellent feedback, even when they cock up. They are on the ball, they respond, they deal with problems.

I finally rang Panache from NewZealand after a series of emails to which there was no reply I left a phone message stating that I would contact Pikuer if there was no email response in 24hrs. Low and behold next day a response. I was informed that they would let me know the status of my order and since then I have had no further correspondence. I own a business myself and customer service is paramount. I have now been waiting 3 mths with no communication I will contact Pikuer as they should not be suppling a distributor that does not give good service or at least communicate with buyer. It also gives Pikuer a bad name.
