Does she have to wear shoes at the show?

Im showing my mare in some smallish local shows this year and was wondering does she have to wear shoes?
i dont do much work on the roads all my hacking is offroad its seems a same to put out such an expense for only a few weeks use!!!

No, she doesn't.

No if shes happy without then theres no need for her to have them. I compete my boy in every thing (dressage, sj, pc, rc, fun rides and xc next week) without shoes and have never had a comment about it. The only time it would be commented on was if the horse had bad feet and was foot sore.

Shes a welsh d, she's got big strong feet and is sure footed.

If I were you I would keep her barefoot, just make sure she has plenty of mins and vits thoroughout the year to ensure quality if hoof growth.
