does such a pad exist? half pad EDGED (not lined) with sheepskin?

IE just a gel or quilt half pad, with sheepskin edges round front and back, but not lined underneath in sheepskin? so you get the dead sheep *look* but not extra bulk under saddle?

I know Acavallo sell them through Horse Health Wessex but the gel goes a horrid yellow colour so quickly and i dont want to be able to see yukky yellow gel sticking out under saddle against snow white show saddlcloth! so got to be either white quilt, or gel that doesnt discolour really.

Having just altered the size of a sheepkin numnah, and found it fairly straight forward, why not just sew sheepkin around the edge.?

or if not how about a dressage square that has the sheepskin so it looks like a half pad but is just on the top? I will try find a link.

I have just found this and remembered this thread. If you want the dead sheep look but don't want any additional bulk under the saddle then Mattes make these.
