Not really as far as I know, but I wouldn't have brown on my bay... I like green tweed myself, and it seems to be the most common colour. I think it also depends on the class? I know you wouldn't wear tweed in some classes, you'd wear navy instead. I understand the ins and outs of M&Ms and have people showing them in green, blue/grey and brown tweeds.

Green tweed is more "in" at the moment, and i feel looks more proffesional but both are acceptable(Although blue is rarely seen above local level)
Hope that helped

I think as long as the tweed and the overcheck match your horse and as long as your shirt and tie match the jacket to an extent then it doesn't matter which colour.
I don't like the jacket I've got (it's old) and am gagging to buy a new one... I'm trying to decide between a light green with either a pink overcheck or a baby blue overcheck...

Originally, blue tweed was of an inferior quality cloth to the brown and green tweeds. This is why people tended to go for them rather than the blue. Even though the quality of some blue tweeds has improved, people still tend to opt for green or brown. Have look at the showing pics in H&h for ideas on jackets.
