Does the 'over 16's on horses only' rule still apply?

Having a discussion today as to whether an over 16 year old is at a disadvantage competition wise if they are on, for example, a 14.1h pony?

Does the 'over 16's must be on a horse over 14.3h' rule still apply? And if so, where?

I'm 23 and compete a 14.1hh including in BE, BSJA and showing. They're are restrictions out there still, but defiantly not as many as there used to be. It's nice that BSJA have also changed rules so that small people like myself don't have to buy a whopper of a horse just to have some fun :)

There are increasing numbers of adults on natives, and more recently, adults on non native type ponies - like mine, mini WB/TB types with a dash of native blood.

I moved up to horses when I was 14. I had grown too tall to ride my 14.1 and a full up 14.2 still would have been to small. I really wish I could still ride ponies as they are so cool! I have an overgrown pony now so I'm happy :)
