I've worked in racing. They have their own rates of pay, as stated on the link above from 'be positive'. You also get over night and daily allowances for when you go racing and standard overtime too. You get a quarterly share of pool money from all the winnings the yard has had, this is usually dependant upon how long you have worked for them. You can win turn out money when leading up, a great incentive for turning out well! Royal Ascot used to be £250 to best turned out and £250 if you lead up a winner!! And also good owners will drop you a few quid if you lead their horse up when it wins!

When it refers to overtime (Consolidated Wage) does the money they show mean the minimum wage plus consolidated wage?
e.g. 226.04 per week (including overtime)
