What I am looking for is (not that me or my similarly ginger mare are fussy...)

a happy mouth bit - with the centre roller (so double jointed) - but with egbutt rings.

Any ideas? I have been looking but haven't found one yet.

If I can't find one like this I will get the hanging snaffle with the centre roller.

Thankies xx

Ive seen one similar in a loose ring in the robinsons catalogue...and Im sure that Shires have got the hanging cheek version...sorry, not much help really!! x

ah - right middle bit - but she doesn't like the full cheeks!!

Hi Rosehip & horse crazy - I'm trying to get away from the loose rings. Every horse I have ridden in the happy mouth loose ring bits (including my current mare) have gone beautifully in them - until they start pinching and causing problems at the corners of their mouths.

Hence the egbutt rings!

Yes - when I am schooling - but I don't think you are allowed to use bit guards for dressage...

My mare is as fussy and pig headed as me - and gets quite upset by changes to her bridle as simple as bit guards - so I wouldn't want to be taking them on and off

Thankies anyway xx
