My new boy (8 year old cob x TB) I knocked any hard feed on the head when he came to me 10 weeks ago as he was fat and a bit loopy!
He is now looking fab but lacks a bit of enthusiasm - not sure if that's due to his work load or lack of hard feed (I have been giving him a scoop of alfa a as a thankyou at night)
I'm thinking of starting off with a balancer such as Top spec or baileys lo cal.
We will hunt once a month so maybe cool cubes too?
Does this sound ok?
