Does this horse look lame? - now with a cantering one.

TBH it's really difficult to tell from the video clip. Possibly looks a little unlevel infront/ near fore. But I'm not very confident in saying that just from that short, rather wobbly clip.

Yes I know, sorry its not the best video

I think it is very hard to tell from that vid, however towards the end of the clip it appears to be nodding its head when the off fore touches the ground indicating it may be lame on the near fore, likely to be higher up in the led around the shoulder area as the horse is circling to the right.

My horse trotted up with his ears forward and not looking particularly happy or unhappy when recovering from a broken-leg and hopping-lame

Sorry it's really hard to tell anything from that video - All I'd comment on is that it does look croup high and therefore it sends it's weight onto it's forehand - it looks as though it could do with lifting through it's shoulders, freeing them up - that may make the picture look a bit better

Quite agree with everyone else the clip isn't too good. You could really do with a clip of someone trotting the horse up in hand, rather than someone riding it. It may be that the horse tends to be a bit "noddy" at times in trot, or that it may be stiff - how old is the horse?

Agree with others about the video, but to me it almost looks slightly bridle lame, can't really see any true lameness though.

I agree with H's mum, the horse just looks on his forehand as far as I can tell from that quality of video.

To me theres something abit funny about his hind quaters. Whats meant to be wrong with the horse? Is it yours? Either not using back end correctly or its pelvis is slightly out, thats my opinion

I don't think he's lame exactly, but in the walk in particular there is something going on with his back end.

Or perhaps that should be..

i dnt thnk hs lme extly, bt n the wlk n prtclr thr is smthg gng on wth his bck end
