No, but I'm tempted, it would make sense to have another... Sort of... There is a small group of hard core HHOers who are encouraging me to bite the bullet, hence this thread...

Either that or they're trying to traumatise me :D
 
My mare is his auntie and was bred by the same lady :-) I'll post some pictures of her if you like. If he turns out like her you will love him!

Here you go. My mare is 5 and is half Highland half Andalusian. I believe this one's dam is by the same Andalusian stallion as mine. I am biased, but I think mine is lovely :-) She has had a great first season competing and I love her to bits....

Thank you. She is 15.2hh. Very forward going, prefers jumping to flat work and approaches dressage with the same attitude as cross country, but we are working on that lol! Super confident, has not stopped once cross country this year - including ditches, drops, water, steps etc.

The gelding advertised is 3/4 highland and 1/4 andalusian so is likely to end up more chunky that her (she is 1/2 highland and 1/2 andalusian). I will be soooo jealous if you get him :-)
 
mm, I think he'd be more highlandy than her, but with the dash of andalusian for zest... No he just sounds like a cocktail now :eek:

No see if you'd said she was 14,2 or something I could have ruled him out as almost certainly too small, but if he made 14,3, 15hh or there abouts he'd be perfect :eek:

OK I'm really sold on him now :o

God you're all a terrible influence... I should really start considering how I could work another one - no room at my current place (farmer would have a fit, I reckon!) so I'd have to move the 5 year old onto livery (added advantage of school, disadvantage of cost :eek:) or split the herd so two stay at my place and find a couple of acres for the other two somewhere else. I bet nobody has anything useful to say on the practical side, now, eh? :p :D

QB, would "Zest of Andalusia" not sound better? I'm presuming he's the horse equivalent a jug of sangria with liberal quantities of a good Scottish single malt poured in?

Latest photos are all also stunning, Starsky :eek: lovely jump on her.
