Does this rug fit ok?

Hi all,
Measured our new pony for rugs he’s inbetween 4’9 & 5’ so went for 5’.
Is it just me or does it look really long on him? They are all like this, but width wise seems ok?

Hi I find rugs specifically for ponies are less deep and fit better eg from ruggles or dinky rugs

Looks long but as long as the surcingles aren't hanging it will be fine!

I think sometimes for fleece or stretchy rugs go down a size then some turnouts need to be a bit bigger.

But honestly that looks fine.

It is quite deep but only just long enough, imho. Just make sure the circingles aren't long enough for him to get a hoof over.
