Does this seem like a rip off?

Working it out (roughly) if that were 7 days a week it would come in at around £510 per month. This is approx £127 per week. For £180 I get full livery, 60x20 school, jumps, all feed, hay, bedding, most clipping, full show preparation (bathing, plaiting etc), schooled by pro rider or exercised by grooms (including travel to the park), lorry available to use with driver (just pay share of diesel), groom for show days etc etc etc. If I want I can even ask for my horse to be tacked up and untacked for me (although I don't use this part of the service!), grooming and strapping, tails and manes pulled - just about everything apart from vet, shoeing and insurance.

And I get all that for just £7.50 per day more than you are paying. (assuming my sums are correct!)

I think that what I am saying is that it seems quite expensive to me!

Until recently I paid one of the girls to turn out for me in the morning, as i just couldn't get there before work. But that's now been outlawed by YM!!!

Sounds as though they don't want to do full livery and are pricing it accordingly. Is anyone else on full livery at the yard?

BLIMEY....

There was a place I was looking at and it was 360 for 7 day a week EVERYTHING done, plus 4days riding for you.....

I have to say hun, that is one of the main reasons why I didn't move there! She was in no way prepared to do a deal for 2 or more horses either! Where is work - I might know of somewhere....

I pay £73 a week for part livery (everything bar exercise/grooming) with no hay/feed/bedding included, with excellent facilities. So YES, a huge rip off! (I'm in Hampshire as well, so everything seems to be more expensive down here
