Im thinking of doing 7 day full livery ( at the mo we just do through the week for owners). I would be offering all year turnout, all hard feed ( Owners choice but no supplements), excellent quality haylage, qualified YO on site 24/7, all weather 20m x 40m floodlit arena (that doesn't flood), assists your horse for the vet etc for free, secure tackroom with seating and tea/coffee facilities, Fab hacking no main roads, all for £75 a week?! What do you think? We are in the North! Thankies x

I think that sounds reasonable. Where i am it costs £65 for 5 day livery and extra for farrier etc and £80 for 7 day and we're up north!!

Sorry forgot to add we do supply bedding too, and all the boxes have rubber matting and auto-water drinkers! We charge £60 for 5 day at the mo but may increase that soon as feed prices are ever increasing!! Thanks for all your replies!

I'm in the North West and paid £77 per week for similar service a couple of years ago. Current yard £68 for similar but bigger arena and better hacking so very reasonable.

Hi, i'm in south of england, pay for £110 a week for each one of mine, includes horse walker, use of indoor school/outdoor school when not been used for lessons/by owners etc. About going rate for where I am.

So where are you based then?!

Compared to what the full livery price on my yard is, that is really good value but my yard is a rip off anyway. We received a letter today telling us that our DIY is going up, and well put it this way, we're leaving if we can find somewhere else

ETS: forgot to say how much full livery was! £520 a month

Crikey, where are you? sign me up for your yard. It's £600-plus a month round here - hence I don't have my own horse
