Does this sound like a good price for livery?

Part livery, £50 per week for 5 days.

Includes changing rugs, turning out, giving hay for breakfast, and skipping stable out.
First horse for £50 per week, and second horse for £30 per week, just depends what services would like to be provided for horses.

Need to supply your own feed, but can have as much hay and shavings as you wish.

Floodlit outdoor arena, and 5 acres for horses to graze. you can have your own paddock if you wish.

365 days turnout. stabes 14x16ft. You will basically have the yard and facilities to yourself. Plenty off road rides and bridleways. No other liveies, just owners own 2 horses (which are a shetland and a pony).

My yard is for sale, and while Im ideally after DIY, this sounds like a bit of a bargain! espec with 2nd horse for £30.

It will mean I will have to get a sharer, but Im looking into this anyway with the lack of time I have to ride at the mo.

Sorry I shoud say her two 'horses', one is a shetland, one is a pony,(have edited post) so they wont be allowed much grass!

also its free to have horse held for farrier, vet, etc, and free to have haynets etc filled. owner sounds pretty flexible.

I don't think that 5 acres in enought for 24/7 365 turnout. But it may work as a stop gap for you.

for 2 horses and 2 ponies, really?

Mine will be in on a night over winter because i will finally have big enuogh stables for them, currently have an 11x11 for beau which isnt big enough for him to live in comfortably.

At the moment we have 12 acres and 10 big horses on it, plus a shetland. They live out 24/7/365, except 2 of them.

im sure the shetland and pony will have their own paddock ( I will see over the weekend), knowing what good doers they are, so Im assuming i will have abut 3-4 acres for my two.

Thanks yes thats what i thought, espec with my big lads if i had to buy my own hay and shavings (they are filthy) it would cost me quite a lot anyway.

TBH what Im really excited about is the fact its not a livery yard as such, ie no livery yard politics or cliques.

I've had 2 horses and 2 small ponies rotated around 5 acres and never had a problem with grazing. I fed hay in the field in winter but I do that now with unlimited grass because there is so little in the grass come january.

at least its nice to have the option of 24/7 turnout as at my last yard it was horses must be stabled at night 6months of the year which really got up my nose sounds great to me!!

Sounds like a bargain to me, it sounds like yours are in overnight, so the grazing shouldn't be an issue. I keep 3 horses on 1.5 acres, with only 3/4 acre of grazing, they go on the grass in the summer (with hay when necessary), and during the winter the are turned out in the and menage with hay. Works for me and my horses.
BTW I should only have 2 horses, but the other one needed a home
