My just turned 4 yr old RID has the past week or so started to not let you touch his head constantly putting as high as he can so you cant touch ( im 5ft9 and cant reach when he does it the ******)and has got very aggressive when you try and get him, Ive had to coax him with food to put a bridle as he throws his head around otherwise, once Ive got it on he then just constantly rubs the side of his head, Hes also sparying food everywhere as he eats, wont pull hay form haynet, and recently when ever he eats dips his head in water after hes taking a mouthful of food or hay
He's at a good weight but feel I feed alot to keep it on him, hes fed 3 times a day(1 1/2 scoops solution mash and a scopp alfa a oil), out 9-4 on good grass then had 1/2 to 3/4 bale of hay a night

I have got the vet coming to check his teeth but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas?
