Brought my three year old in on tuesday night and she was hoping lame on her off hind. I have had a good look and can't find any sign of whats causing the lameness. I turned her out today in the hope she just knocked herself etc but she is still lame and seems to be pitching on her toe. I have had another good look tonite and can't find any obvious swelling, cuts etc but she is still lame
do you think this could be gravel?? any ideas how long before the infection breaks out? also how would you treat it? i.e. would you start poulticing now in the hope it encourages the infection to break out or would you leave it to break out naturally?
any help much appreciated!!
