Just a quicki!

i've just had my vet bill for when the vet came and sedated one of my mares for the farrier last month.
the bill states:
Domosedan Inj 0.7ml and also
Dolorex 10mg 0.7ml

In the past when i have had horses sedated, there only appears to have been one drug (maybe the vet used to automatically combine it?) but i am just wondering if anyone else has any experience?

The mare only had 1 jab... and TBH, i am not so sure a vet would draw 2 drugs from different bottles into one syringe?

anyway - thought i would ask here before i poss call the vets and make a fool of myself :)

There are lots of different types of sedation.

happy drugs
sleepy drugs and
relation drugs.

Vets often uses a combination depending on how stressy the horse is and how much its needs to be "sedated".
