Does your dog scare you?

No not once. Even if I was I would never let it show. I've always had rescue Rottweilers and now I have a staffy. None of my animals have never attempted to raise a lip. I Set the boundries from the word go, I don't think anyone can afford not too. Dogs feel save with someone in charge and don't display so much anxious behaviour.

Nope Harvey has never scared me. Although, being a tiny little cavalier king charles, he's too cute to look scary or make anyone scared of him! He's generally well behaved and has never bitten or showed aggression towards anyone.

Her focus on me when we're doing training sometimes scares me, in that I'm frightened I'll let her down, no-one in class can sabotage her when we're doing various exercises as no one can distract her from me.
The brother did growl once and meant it when I gave him a bone and then approached him 5min later whilst he still had it, needless to say bone was removed and put in the bin (he now gets a bone and buries it for later, but has never growled since).
Friend who runs puppy classes did get bitten yesterday by a 6mnth old beagle pup who had been allowed to become possesive over whatever he wanted and the owners were fast becoming frightened of him. They had just been allowing him to keep things as it was easier than trying to get something off him (another example of what could become a dangerous owner rather than a dangerous dog).

Never felt scared of any of my dogs and nor would I want to be. My bulldog could give a look where if you didn't back off be warned but thats a feature of them and you learn to recognise it. They must never feel threatened.

My Bullmastiffs are the soppiest dogs I have ever come across and have never made the slightest noise, growl or anything really.

I always felt safe with my bulldog but the mastiffs would be rubbish guard dogs as they'd invite you in for tea rather than see you off.

I am not scared of Lola, but I do sometimes fear I will lose control of her. I would never let her off in an unsecured area because of this. I also get scared she will be stolen!

The most I have to fear in the house is that she will knock the baby over in her tazmanian devil type 'do's' she has! :)
