when you see YO number come up on your mobile?

Mine just called to say the boy has cut his tummy - another horse backed into him at the gate so he got scared and tanked through the gate - which wasn't open!

I thought something really bad had happened.

Oh well, no show on Monday now - he's managed to catch himself where the girth goes......

Being of a nervous disposition, and not having a YO, everytime I open the gate for the 200 yard walk to the horses all sorts of images go through my mind, from blood running down legs to dangling limbs to there being no horses in there at all!

Hope it's not as bad as you are fearing.

Yes completely! When I see YO's number come up on my phone I think "oh crumbs"! It's even worse when it's late at night or v early as u just know something bad is up. My heart leaps into my throat everytime he calls...! I hope that your horsey heals quickly.

Mine never goes, YO rings me all the time just to natter about irrelevant stuff, so I just presume thats why she's ringing!

I always worry when anyone rings from the yard. Mainly it is the lady that gets my horse in wating to moan about others on the yard though

Except when she rings to ask us early on saturday to but trade it lol!
Always get nervous especially with one lame now the other on the verge of being sold!

YO calls me all the time, but the first thing she will say is "Don't panic, they are alll ok" and then we have a conflab..........

Mine goes whenever my phone rings before 8am or after 9pm...
But I'm a nervous wreck!!

Yes - every time and as someone else mentioned, its worse if its early morning / late at night (i.e. times when they're unlikely to be calling just for a chat :|)

Atleast I'm not the only one - felt like a right woss!

Yeah think he'll be ok - they said no vet out and I trust their opinion. Will get up there the minute I can after work and just give him lots of cuddles.....makes you realise how much you love them! x

Yes - mine really does... because I usually get a text about other stuff so a call means something is wrong... and my old horse was always getting colic... so i used to think - this is it - he's finally done it - everytime her number came up

except last time - when she rang to ask my advice about buying a car!

not anymore cause everytime he rings its cause the horses are out and running around his garden!!! i used to panic now i just totter up and scream at them to get back in!
