We have a Cleveland Bay passport

Esp as its legal requirement and £5000 fine if you dnt have it. Vets can actually advise local authority if you dnt present it for jabs now!
 
Chumley & Cassidy have one but *whispers* Norman hasn't got one! He was bred by a friend and will never be sold due to his 'wonky' legs...and his lovely nature

Unfortunately, yes, you are breaking the law. It does not matter if an animal never leaves it's field or that it will never end up in the food chain, they must still have a passport. ridiculous really.

i must say my old boys has only had he's a month and i' ve have the out to about 4 times before this and he was tetanus and all without having a passport

As it is illegal to sell a horse with a Passport, but not illegal to buy one without a passport.

It was a legal requirement in the UK for all horses to have passports before I left the UK and I certainly couldn't have flown my mare to North America without one....so yes of course the British horse does have a passport.

I didnt get one for my horse as he is very elderly and retired. When the passport thingy came out I thought I wouldnt bother as he will probably croak it soon.
Today he is VERY alive but I will never sell him and he doesnt have jabs.
As soon as I get one, it will be just my luck that he will croak it the next day !!!

same as me!! i cant afford one for myself and even if i got one i couldnt afford to actually use it!!!

bear has a 'Gypsy Cob' one
and Buddie has a WPCS passport and papers

I can afford 1, but I cannot use it (medical reasons).
