A friend said Sadies wonky blaze looked like someone had lobbed a water balloon full of white paint at her face and it dribbled down her nose. They were correct.

I don’t know if it’s unusual as I’ve never had a patchy pony before, but I love the ‘blurred lines’ around all the patches on my companion pony.

When you get this sort of marking round spots on appaloosas we call them halo spots.

Nice! They go round his entire body. But I don’t have any reference horses to look at up close to see if they all have it.

Mine aren't unusual (at least in the clydesdale world) but my dad once explained how he could tell them apart; Ace has had someone drag a paintbrush down his nose and Alfie looks like he dipped his face in a bag of flour

F had unusual markings yesterday.
A huge splodge of mud above one eye and swipes on each ribcage where some hit near the top of each of my stirrup irons and worked its way backwards nicely decorating him.
That’s what happens when we canter behind the big boys.

Mine has it round his blaze, but only in his summer coat. It's covered by floof in winter.
One of the patchies at the RDA has the halo markings similar to your companion pony's, the others don't iirc.

Oh, I thought I was looking at a blaze until I noticed the top of a foreleg.
It's interesting the way some markings are crisp at the edges, while others, such as on your horse, are blurred. I wonder about the reason.
I love the square-shaped star... OH! and scrolling up to find the user-name I need for this add-on, I see a heart-shaped star!
