Well I now have 24 horses at my farm and they take about half an hour to do in the morning and about half an hour in the afternoon; which leaves me with a whole 23 hours most days to do as I like

.

I can spend as much or as little time with them as I wish - suits me fine as I have lots of other things that I do away from horses.

No, an hour or so in the evening, unless riding, and then a few hours at the weekend. Just as much time spend on other people's horses (but not hands on) through sitting on two non profit making committees, secretary of one and chair of the other..so always thinking of horses in one way or another. They have even managed to creep in as a specialism at work too, but again that is not hands on

I always said i was NOT going to be the person i have become. i was going to be one of these cool horse owners who yes loves their horse and spends a lot of time with them but doesnt stop doing other things/having a life.

but i live eat breathe and sleep my horse. she is my life! i have one night to myself a week when i see my non-horsey friends (and try really hard not to talk horse) but pretty much all my other non work time is with my ned.

much more satisfying than shopping or dossing around!
