What boots does your horse/pony wear when jumping?

when jumping, i always put open-fronted tendon boots on just incase, but if i put fetlock boots on I'm always paranoid they are going to slip as they never feel very secure - is it just the boots i have (woof wear smart fetlock boots)? does anyone else jump without hind boots?

I jump nearly everything in front boots, for protection from knocks or strike injuries to the tendon, they offer no real support, I often leave them with nothing behind unless they move close and may brush the joints together, once they are jumping more seriously then I boot up a bit more, we took 2 to a hunter trial this morning and both went without hind boots.

I try very hard to to use any boots at all for jumping unless going cross country. Never put hinds on for show jumping - unless their action predisposes them to knocking into themselves.

I find horses jump better without boots and I don't like the way that most boots keep the tendons warm.

He wears fetlock boots behind for SJ (and SJ lessons/ practice). I prefer to use open fronted tendon boots in front too but he can be a bit lazy so don't always.
For XC he wears XC boots all round. IMHO it's not worth the risk of injury over solid fences.

Don't use any boots as pony hates them. Bit strange as last horse was an ex racer so booted up all round for everything
