my boyfriend isnt into horses WHATSOEVER. In fact the only competition hes ever come to watch he turned up late and made his way to the xc crossing the path of the last fence on the course with me shouting 'get out of the way!'
we do occasionally come up against it with regards to money (but doesnt everyone in every walk of life not just those involved with horses) and I think he has accepted the fact that if I didnt have horses I would a) be miserable as sin and b) would more than likely turn into a clothes/shoes/hair/spa/nails kind of girl with nothing else to do (ok fair enough I do enjoy these things very occasionally as a treat)
I think its good for us to have 'our own thing' to do and to be perfectly honest I couldnt think of anything worse than having a bloke who was with me and the neds morning, noon and night - its my 'me' time!
