Does your willy hang low? does it wobble to and fro?

My boy seems to be getting his willy out more and more without actually needing a wee.
He tends to do it after a ride always. I thought he was doing it because he was relaxed, e.g grooming, attention, being brought in, being put out basically everything.

Is this normal?
could there be something behind this? or is it as simple as him airing his willy :S
He is gelded so its nothing saucy
 
I wouldn't worry about it - it's something they do when they are relaxed or tired, this heat is exhausting I would put it down to that. My boy did the same yesterday while I was mucking him out. He hadn't been ridden hadn't been groomed - was just letting it all hang out because he was hot and tired from the weather
 
I wouldn't worry, mine has his out more often than not - he's ruined a lot of photos!
Might be worth checking for a bean if you haven't already though?
 
My boy is forever letting it hang out - & being a draft it isn't small! A group of school kids visited and he gave them a good show, including a wee which flooded the yard. Apparently it was the highlight of their visit........
 
My darty barely gets his out - not even to wee! He is a bit of a tink but I think he is just bashful as he was gelded when he was 4months old so he doesn't exactly have the biggest willy in the world!
 
My welsh is always hanging his out - and flapping it up and down haha he was gelded at 4 (rig op) and has been *used* in the past when he got in with my mare !! i remember once he escaped by scling a big hedge to get to some mares in the field over the lane - he couldnt get in with them but he was running around the villiage with his 5th leg out screming at the mares!! it was the talk of the villiage for a week haha
 
Mine is letting his hang low and loose in this heat. He got a fly bite on it and I have been trying to keep an eye on it, by everytime I crouch down to have a look he whips it back in and gives me a dirty look 😂
 
So tell me is it easy to get them to stick it out for cleaning? I've only ever cleaned one horses sheath and he'd get it out if you touched the inside of his back leg.
 
It's a good indicator of how relaxed he is when I'm in the stable - however in the heat this week I can see from the black (he's grey) 'trouser' marks he's been very relaxed and had it right out hanging very low, probably when he was asleep. Tips on cleaning it would be helpful, thanks.

If he's difficult I remember the YO at my old RS would give the difficult ones sedalin
 
oh my oh my... our acquired stallion doesn't just get his out, he slaps it on his belly repeatedly for aaaaaages and grunts as he does it... and it's HUGE... the amount of times I've had to avoid being slapped (or more like belted) around the face with it when I pick his feet out... STOP IT!!!!!

I'd seriously avoid being under his tum if he's belly slapping - you may get a rather unpleasant surprise :o

Oh god.. reminds me of one time I was fussing over a very sweet but neglected Spanish stallion kept in a field near me... I was scratching his chest, not paying attention at all, and got sprayed :eek::eek:
 
The gelding that whipped it out when you touched the inside of his back legs would keep asking you to scratch it! The face he'd pull and he'd hit you in the head with it when you brushed his tum.
