Hi,

I have a 1 year old Border Collie, she is my pet but when i bought her i wanted to do some agility with her once she was old enough. It looks great fun and i think it will be good for her to have a 'job'.

I'm taking her to her first (very beginner!) class on Tuesday but was wondering if anyone has any good websites where i can learn how everything runs (as in what levels there are and what you have to do at each level etc etc). What things i should do at home to help/is it worth me getting a few obstacles at home to work with?

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Here is my little girl -

Thanks in advance :)

She's lovely! I am sure she's going to love agility!

My only advice would be to check out the clubs before you sign up to one. Like obedience training there are many different approaches to teaching agility and you need to find the one that suits you and your dog. I made the mistake of just going along to a club where the 'trainer' popped my dog on the see-saw on the very first day...and then let it drop! It took two years to get her over her fear of see-saws and she was never confident enough to get on one completely alone.
