Dog attacks owner 3 times

It's the Daily Mail heavens alive. Her five minutes of fame. Look at the face hair and make up! She's being paid.

If those scars are genuinely from that dog Im sure anyone could get them just by handling a dog fight incorrectly.

Who rightly knows or cares it's the Daily Mail.

I knew that if I waited long enough, there'd be a post of yours that I'd agree with! ;)

Alec. :)

She still walks it without a muzzle. In public. If she wants to end up mauled, I suppose we must accept this as her decision (and as others have said, it WILL happen again). If she takes the dog out and it so much as hurts a fly, the full force of the law should be brought to bear immediately and with no equivocation.

I don't think it's the dog's fault - he clearly is the boss and he's only doing what nature dictates when his authority is challenged. I doubt it is recoverable from here though - what human could safely correct a big boy like that? I would also PTS, but I'd like to think I wouldn't have let this happen in the first place.

This is just a musing and not necessarily my opinion, but, as dog owners is it not our legal right to ensure that we do our best to make sure they don't come to harm? By behaving in this completely irresponsible way she is essentially setting the dog up to have to be killed. If he attacks anybody else but her or her husband he WILL be PTS. And the way he's behaving and her unwillingness to even muzzle him I feel this is a question of when rather than if. :(

I'm in no way saying that this is the same as cruelty and neglect cases, but it could be argued that she is giving her 'baby' the same chances of survival.

(before I get lynched, this was just a musing of mine and thought I'd throw it out there).

I think the law makers agree with you as well. If this dog attacks anyone else or even another dog, she's going to face a prison sentence...

I think these laws have come in now. It is a positive step towards owners taking responsibility.

I'd like to know what the owner's idea of disciplining a pup involves? Did Boris get the same sort of punishment as a pup because it would certainly be a 'trigger' for him and he's big enough now to do something about it. (IME dog pups chew more than bitches). Is this owner the lovely fluffy owner she would have us believe or does she have a temper when the kitchen floor is involved? Either way she knows nothing about training. Both dogs should be removed and the older one assessed for retraining or appropriate action taken.

Totally agree with this
