Dog has had one or more of us round the clock since we got her at the age of 5 that was 4 yrs ago, now family members have moved on she has to be left on her own at this stage not more than a couple of hours.
We bought a cage, not used yet, we are also moving house and do not want to upset new neighbours, present neighbours are fine ( we have end house so you have to be walking by to hear her).
Dont want to dope her up, any ideas welcome she is a cocker spaniel off the gun dog side.

Hi, I have a cross breed and he none stops yapping all day long at anything. We do not have neighbours but he was doing our heads in so bought him an anti bark coller off ebay. It really works and after a while he just gave up.

Just an idea but why not try leaving an old coat or something that smells "personal" in the crate so she doesn't feel so lonely. It may sound crazy but some get the idea that you'll at least be back for that and they can guard it mean time!;) Others bark for attention. Well, that requires a different approach!
