Little Dog is 5 months old, vaccinated, wormed, and usually fit and healthy.

He has been fine all day until just after 3pm. Since then he has been sick four times. He is currently going round the room eating whatever fluff/crumbs/general rubbish he can find on the floor. He did this a little while ago to make himself sick again.

His nose is cold and wet, he keeps having little drinks of water, but keeps making himself sick.

Just something he has eaten, or something more serious?

I'd starve him for 24 hours then offer plain rice and chicken. If no improvement, vet.

ETA - cold wet nose means nothing, it's a myth that it can show if a dog is healthy/feeling well. :)

It's not recommended to starve for 24 hrs anymore. I would make sure he's drinking and in the morning offer some scrambled egg or chicken and rice.
However if the vomiting continues ring the vet.
It could be a blockage

Dylan used to do this ( if he had a stomach upset) he would lick the carpet.

I would feed scrambled egg and give some pepto bismal afterwards, if he's got a bug he's gonna be sick whatever but even now Dylan is sick once and irritates his throat? Stomach lining? And needs pepto bismal to settle his stomach again.

I was worrying about a blockage, but poos are normal in frequency and consistency. He was out first thing eating leaves, moss and anything else that was laying about in the yard (until I stopped him!), but hasn't been sick again thank goodness. He is playing and enjoyed his walk this morning, but is a bit more subdued than normal.

I think it must have been something he has eaten that has disagreed with him, he does have a habit of eating dead things, the more rancid the better!
