Can any one help here? For the second year in a row, my Lab bitch has seemed very listless and below par for a couple of weeks after her boosters. She is now 10 and otherwise very healthy. I know there is a great deal of debate about reaction to vaccinations but understood that that referred to rather more specific symptoms - in her case there is nothing tangibly "wrong" - she just isn't quite herself. Appetite fine (well, this is a Lab, after all!), still keen to go for walks but much quieter and more subdued whilst out. The timing could just be coincidence - it may be that she just picked up a mild virus whilst at the vet - but I thought I'd ask on here in case anyone can shed any light on this?

It is a tax on the immune system and can bring on symptoms of lethargy, but if you are worried get her checked as 2 weeks is a long time for her to be "not herself" usually the booster effect will subside in a few days.

That's what I thought, Cayla - for the first couple of days I wasn't too worrried but I figured that two weeks is a little long!

Thanks all
