Does anyone have any experience of cracked pads? My 1yr old Springer started limping yesterday and on inspection of his paw I can see that two of the pads have cracks across them. Wondering if dog boots might be an option?? Anyone used them? Thanks 🐶😊

From a quick internet search I have found that a zinc deficiency can lead to cracked paw pads and cod liver oil may be the best thing to give your dog in its feed. The vet can prescribe them or you can buy them from a health food shop.

If a dog licks its paws a lot this can be a sign of a PH imbalance resulting in not enough meat in the dog food and also using chemicals on your floors i.e floor cleaner, bleach, etc. as this can aggravate a dogs paws causing them to split and bleed.

Here is a web site selling boots for dogs!:http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...A0.H0.Xdog+boots.TRS0&_nkw=dog+boots&_sacat=0
