Dog Breed suggestions for family

A border collie would be a nice choice. Mine is fantastic with children even though she has never lived with any, will take all the exercise she can get and is tonnes of fun.

Some border collies are great with children. Others dislike rapid movements and can be nervous/prone to snapping.

That said, I only know farm-bred ones. I wouldn't disregard them completely, but do a fair bit of research on the parents and temperament.
