Is that what they are called? My daughter's dog is a bit of a chewer when left alone, if she is out at work I have him but sometimes she just goes out for an hour and was wondering about one of these cage things. Are they any good and what size would she need for a pug x french bulldog. Also where is best to buy from.
Thank you

PetsAtHome sell the Savic dog cages/crates in a range of sizes, and have the standard ones and the dearer zinc plated ones. I have just got two, one for the car as our new girl is hyperactive and a strong bouncy little thing so can't be left loose in the car whilst I'm driving. The other one is much bigger for the house and can fit in a bed and bowls.

I'd go for a bigger one than the sizes they recommend as it's more a doggy storage area than a travel cage. Also you'd probably feel guilty putting her into a small cage. Just make sure that it fits into whatever gap you want it to go into.

Last night I thought about crawling into it myself just to get away from hyperactive dog!!!

Dog crates are brilliant, I would go for a big one that you can fit a bed in, water bowl, toys etc with plenty of room for the dog to move about.

We got our indoor crate and the crate for the car from Barjo - not the cheapest but really well made and designed and we have had our for years.

I have one for our puppy, i like to go out and know that he and my kitchen is safe

Above buy it now but soom even cheaper on bidding and pick up only however i would stick to a new one.

Crates are a wonderful thing.
I personally think every dog should be crate trained.

Once they are use to them the dog actually feels really safe in them

Go for the biggest one you can fit in so you can fit bowls and toys ect in!

And then a small one that actually fits the dog for the car.

Don't put him in a lock him in straight away.

Feed him in there for a few days and put his bed in there, leave the door open so he can go in and out and don't put him in there for bad behavior.
