OH and i are getting married on 21st May.

We have 2 dogs, a Jack Russell and a British Inuit. The dogs will be coming to the reception and they were on the invites, so we would really quite like them on the cake as well.

Any ideas where i can get them from? the ones i have seen have been really expensive, i just need plastic or pottery type ones, not too huge, maybe 5", i realise i am leaving it a bit late and the Inuit will most likely have to be a husky / malamute but i am sure she will not be too offended!

Try ebay - plenty of Jack Russells & lots of huskies or sled dogs.

I know some sculptors but it's a bit short notice.

there's only one problem once you start getting them you are addicted (I now have Echo horse in tiara, echo horse, archie horse, trevor snail, sparkle the gnome cat, mouse, pig!) and my cousin has even more including wizard of oz cat characters and even a Geri Haggis (my xmas pressie to her!)

sadiedeb - i have looked on that website and it does look very cool, i can see me wanting one of all the pets and we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 7 guinea pigs and a ferret!
