Dog clippers...?

Bit of a daft question, but... my mum has a set of Wahl dog clippers, which (to me) look the same as horse clippers.

Can you use dog clippers on horses - for trimming and such?

I use my horse clippers on the dog - so I don't see why not?

my friend has got some from argos which she uses to hog and trim her cobs so yes u can use them!

hi... im a dog groomer and i use andis clippers. you can buy wider blades to fit dog clippers to use on horses so it doesnt take as long, but yes i use my dog clippers on my horse, just make sure theyre well oiled and make sure the blade doesnt get too hot as they work harder on horses hair. You may find they are quieter too than horse clippers x
