My Dobie wears one if it is wet or very cold, she wont step outside the door without it!

I am thinking of getting a waterproof one for my Collie, as she has such a thick coat, it takes her ages to dry out.

Go for it, you will have a very happy, dry dog.

dog coats are fab. My 3 dobes have one each.. I buy the equifleece ones as the dont slip when they are running about and keep them warm and dry and when we go out in the rain and coat gets went it drys really quick too. They arent the cheapest but i like them the best.. I do have a cheaper waxed one for my pup just now and its quite good tho. nothing worse than a wet cold dog.. lol

Ditto, my bulldog has the equifleece jumpers as they are the only coats I can find to stretch over his head and shoulders. He is definitely a wimp and hates the rain / cold so he always wears them and they wash really well.

my boys have weatherbeetas.they love em'. they also have hotter dog jumpers. they look very smext in those hehe ans dry them much faster than there old thermaluxes. hey i'm a softie, and u don't get the smelly wet dog smell hehe

mac the lab has a hip replacement so he must be kept warm

I've just ordered one for my lurcher - he is about 10 years old now, and is also stiff on his back end, so although he has never had one before I think the time is right for him now

I get Blizzard coats from www.grwe.com, as they are designed for greyhounds/whippets/lurchers
