For a wet, soggy spaniel after winter walks. I used to have an Equafleece for him but found it quite difficult to get on/off. Have been looking at the Ruff & Tumble coats but wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

Equafleece do zip up ones too. I can't recommend anything else because I have Equafleeces and really like them! There's a lady on Facebook "Drying Coats for Spaniels" I think she's quite busy though. Don't know what they are like in real life but my husband follows her page for the cute pictures of spaniels ? and the coats look nice.

I always liked the Masta ones for my dog because with the velcro straps they were so easy to put on and take off, they sell them on Amazon

Equafleece for me! You may get a similar item cheaper, but probably a "Made in China" jobbie (don't get me going on China.............. just don't :( ).

Equafleece are based in my county of Devon and when I needed a fleece coat for one of my dogs urgently a few years ago as we were going away, they got it to me mega-quick!

Fab people and gorgeous coats for doggies!

I put a zip into the back of my equafleece. Works a treat as dog wasnt happy about it being pulled on/off without and it was difficult anyway!

Have now made her a drying bag for in car afterwards - that works really well. Towelling on inside, fleece on outside, zip along the back. By the time we are home she has dried out pretty much.

Equafleece are superb! My terrier rather embarrassingly has some winter pjs (no fastenings)as our utlity room gets rather cold and that is where he sleeps at night and a walking out coat (under tum strap) because even though he is quite hard (erm, he thinks so anyway) he does get shivery if he is wet etc. They are truly brilliant coats and made by a lovely company in the uk. :)
